Attic and Crawl Space Solutions is a locally owned crawl space company founded in Lugoff, South Carolina in 2014 by Michael “Mike” Laney and Brian L. Kirkland. More than a decade later, the same two owners still run every part of the business — now with a 25-person local team serving Columbia, Camden, Sumter, and the entire SC Midlands.

Mike and Brian started the company in November 2014 with a simple idea: keep the business modestly sized, sell only what a home actually needs, and do the work right the first time. That approach still defines us. We’re headquartered at 191 W Jones Ln in Lugoff — Kershaw County — and we’ve grown by word of mouth across the Columbia metro and Sumter.
Mike is known around the Midlands for being hands-on: on-site at jobs, personally responsive, and the guy customers mention by name in our reviews. That owner-level accountability is rare in this industry, and it’s why so much of our work comes from referrals.
